Recovering a strained relationship and providing a Local SEO campaign and encouraging client to engage further using 60-90 seconds videos promoted via social media channels.

Challenge

This project was met with a huge challenge insofar that a lead generator we used acted as Smart SEO (our former small business unit) and took around 3 months payment from client and then simply disappeared.  Client found us and we took on the project directly, absorbed the financial loss and began helping client launch the new website.

Solution

The website was a wix.com type site which needed major structural work.  We had to  structure a page layout and undertake full technical SEO work.  A Local SEO campaign focused on Staffordshire and Derbyshire followed by a social media strategy that was to be driven by client.  This decision was taken based on responsiveness to the ‘personal touch’ of their welcome launch video.

We had videos created for each treatment and published them via social media and a newly created Youtube channel.

Delivering Results

Positive results across the board which also included a FREE Google Adwords Express campaign during months 4-6 which generated a number of local telephone enquiries.  Expanded keyword focus and tracking saw an increase of keywords ranking outside of the name/domain only.  Google rankings increased, overall online visibility profile increased as did Local SEO rankings.
